Chris Fresch

Chris Fresch is an American-Australian voice actor and baritone vocalist in South Australia known for grounded performances with depth and complexity. He voices Bastian in the ongoing audio drama Whispers from the Void: Roundtable Discussions. You can hear him soon as the singing voice of Boru in the animation Lavender Skies, Vinny in Crime Boss Investigator by Junebug Jam Productions, and Jonathan in Whispers from the Void. He has a PhD in Divinity from the University of Cambridge.

About Me

Chris Fresch is an American-Australian voice actor who brings passion and depth to every character he brings to life. He began acting 30 years ago in childhood, during which he was represented by Pastorini-Bosby in Houston, Texas, studied with Brandon Smith, and was active in local theater. Since then, he has lived abroad, obtained a PhD in Divinity at the University of Cambridge, taught at Cambridge, published and presented his academic research globally, and took on a lectureship in Adelaide, South AustraliaIn 2025, Chris returned to acting. He has studied with Tawny Platis, Chris Woodworth, George Ledoux, and Cassandra Lee Morris. Chris’s versatility allows him to realistically perform male voices from young adult to middle aged, and his range of accents is informed by years living in America, the UK, and Australia. He excels at providing grounded performances with emotional depth and enjoys playing flawed protagonists, loyal warriors, cunning villains, and wise sages. You can hear him now as Bastian in the ongoing audio drama Whispers from the Void: Roundtable Discussions, and soon as Jonathan in Whispers from the Void, Vinny in Crime Boss Investigator from Junebug Jam Productions, and the singing voice of Boru in the animation Lavender Skies.
